Rita is a native Texan from El Paso. She was born
with the Muscalaro Apache heritage. Rita started
painting when she was 12 years old and hasn't
stopped since! She has been selling her award
winning items for the last 20 years. Some of her
items consist of feathers, bones, beads, and other
non-ceramic items. Her influences range from
Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and California.
While her passion is Native American jewelry and
Southwest ceramic, she has recently added holiday
pieces to her collections. Since everything Rita
makes is all done by hand, no two pieces are exactly
